Bittercube Bazaar to Launch Unique Whiskey and Cocktail Club

After more than a year of offering a cocktail subscription focused on Heirloom Liqueurs, Bittercube founder Ira Koplowitz and Bittercube Bazaar GM Brandon Reyes are excited to update this unique offering.

While big brand Kentucky made bourbon and rye receive the majority of attention, there are producers across the country quietly distilling, and aging a variety of unique whiskey expressions. “It can be difficult to know what is what when a lot of companies simply buy factory made whiskey to re-bottle with a glitzy label” says Koplowitz, “but it was important to us to feature distilleries doing the hard work like we do with bitters.” Koplowitz and Reyes selected their favorite iterations for this whiskey and cocktail series. “We sampled just about every American made whiskey we could find in the state, and then went through a rigorous blind tasting process to whittle it down to our favorites. Whiskey never excited me all that much, but after tasting through some really interesting expressions, I can say my mind has been changed” says Reyes.

Each month, subscribers will receive two expertly crafted bottled cocktails (6 total cocktail servings) including garnish, two 2 oz samples of the Featured Whiskies and detailed Spirit & Cocktail Tasting Notes.
