BAYSHORE Welcomes Glendale Root Beer Bash with Sprecher Brewing Company August 6th

GLENDALE, WI (June 16, 2022) – Glendale is the “Root Beer Capital of the Universe” and on National Root Beer Float Day (August 6th), BAYSHORE is elated to host Welcome to Glendale’s Root Beer Bash for the first time. Presented in partnership with Welcome To Glendale and Sprecher Brewing Company, the family-friendly root beer festivals is brewed for all ages and will begin at 11 a.m. and run through 7 p.m.

Come be part of history as Sprecher Brewing Company attempts to beat the Guinness World Record for the most root beer floats given away. It’s free to attend and there will be plenty of parking available. Attendees should register to ensure organizers have an ample supply of root beer and ice cream. The signature community event brought over three thousand families last year and a larger turnout is expected this year.

The bash features a day of free family fun with Kids Dance Party at 11 a.m., Cold Sweat and the Brew City Horns at 2 p.m. and Block Party Band at 5 p.m., and much more.

“We can’t wait to see all the smiles at the festival with so many exciting activities to do from community art projects to a wide array of entertainment and food trucks,” said Brenda Vento, Marketing Manager at BAYSHORE. “There’s something for everyone in our communities to enjoy.”

There are seven hotels within two miles of BAYSHORE. The Holiday Inn Riverfront will be providing a free shuttle for guests to attend Root Beer Bash.
