Bayshore Names Mario A. Mireles New Senior General Manager

MILWAUKEE (August 3, 2020) – Bayshore is pleased to announce that Mario Mireles has been appointed as its new senior general manager. He will lead and provide oversight of day-to-day operations of the property, including asset management, operations, marketing, customer and tenant relations for both Bayshore and Bayshore Place apartments.

Mireles will also serve on the project management team for Bayshore’s ongoing redevelopment, which is projected to be complete by the end of 2020.

“Mario is a proven leader. His business acumen and ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders is impressive,” said Kirk Williams, managing director for Cypress Equities. “We welcome his fresh perspective as we continue our work to recreate the new Bayshore experience for our guests.”

A veteran of the retail and office property management industry, Mireles brings with him more than 20 years of experience in a variety of senior leadership roles, having most recently served as the southeast region Director of Property Management for Phillips Edison & Company.  His progressive management career has included positional experience with companies in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Salt Lake City.

“I’m excited to lead the Bayshore team and look forward to serving our retailers, tenants, residents, and guests to deliver a shopping, dining and living experience that is truly second to none,” Mireles said.

Mireles attended California State University – East Bay and has earned the International Council of Shopping Center’s (ICSC) Certified Retail Property Executive and BOMA’s Real Property Administrator designations. He is an active member of ICSC and was a long-standing board member and vice-chairman of two commercial improvement districts in Atlanta.
