Basketball on the Diamond: Aurora Health Care Brew City Battle Set for Nov. 11 at American Family Field
First Time Since 2015 College Basketball Games Held at a Baseball-Only Park; Tickets Available July 26 for Doubleheader Featuring Wisconsin vs. Stanford Men and Wisconsin vs. Kansas State Women
MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers announced today that American Family Field will host the Aurora Health Care Brew City Battle on Friday, Nov. 11. The early season college basketball doubleheader adds a signature event to the opening week of the 2022-23 college basketball season with the Wisconsin men taking on Stanford and the Wisconsin women taking on Kansas State.
“This is going to be a day that Wisconsin sports fans can’t miss,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers President – Business Operations. “We have hosted many diverse events at American Family Field, from professional soccer to bowling, and we are excited to bring the electric atmosphere of Wisconsin Badgers basketball into one of the best fan environments in sports.”
The basketball court will be positioned across the infield, with center court near the pitcher’s mound. Temporary seating will be installed just beyond second base along with additional field-level seating around the court to provide a premium fan experience. Additionally, nearly all of the existing seating areas of American Family Field will be available. A rendering of the court layout is attached to this announcement.
