MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers announced today that American Family Field will host the Aurora Health Care Brew City Battle on Friday, Nov. 11. The early season college basketball doubleheader adds a signature event to the opening week of the 2022-23 college basketball season with the Wisconsin men taking on Stanford and the Wisconsin women taking on Kansas State.

This will be the first time in American Family Field history that the venue will be the site of a college basketball event and the first time in eight years since a game was last staged in a baseball-only park.

“This is going to be a day that Wisconsin sports fans can’t miss,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers President – Business Operations. “We have hosted many diverse events at American Family Field, from professional soccer to bowling, and we are excited to bring the electric atmosphere of Wisconsin Badgers basketball into one of the best fan environments in sports.”

The basketball court will be positioned across the infield, with center court near the pitcher’s mound. Temporary seating will be installed just beyond second base along with additional field-level seating around the court to provide a premium fan experience. Additionally, nearly all of the existing seating areas of American Family Field will be available. A rendering of the court layout is attached to this announcement.

Tickets for the Aurora Health Care Brew City Battle will go on sale Tuesday, July 26. Fans can visit brewers.com/basketball for more information.
