Entertainment at St. Ann Center’s north side band shell will continue into September, making up for earlier cancelations due to weather. Indaba Nights is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m., the first three Wednesdays of the month at the center’s Bucyrus Campus, 2450 W. North Ave.

The band shell, located at St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care-Bucyrus Campus, offers a covered, wheelchair-accessible audience space, plus lawn seating. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food trucks will also be at the venue.

The September entertainment lineup includes:

September 1:
6:30 p.m. The Festival City Symphony String Trio—violinists Ellen Willman and JoAnn Haasler and cellist Marti Kriefall—will play a mix of music, including classical, pop, ragtime and show tunes.

7:30 p.m. Sorry, We’re Open, an acoustic-based rock group influenced by the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and the Rolling Stones, takes pride in their unique arrangements of classic songs that invite audience participation.

September 8:
6:30-8:30 p.m. Nite N’ Day Band offers an evening of soulful, swinging music—from Aretha Franklin to Billy Holiday and Lionel Richie to The Temptations. Sit back and enjoy the R&B and Motown sounds of Bobby Jiles, playing sax and piano and vocalizing with Julie Thompson on bass and JC on guitar.

September 15:
6:30 p.m. Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra spotlights talented students who are the future of jazz in Milwaukee and the world. Buckle up for jazz favorites, performed on trumpet, keyboard, bass and drums.

7:30 p.m. To be Announced
