Anderson Gansner Announces Campaign for Milwaukee County Circuit Court

MILWAUKEE— Judge Anderson Gansner announced today he’s running to serve a full six-year term on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court – Branch 46. Gansner was appointed by Governor Tony Evers to the same office earlier this year.

“I’m running to continue serving as a judge in Milwaukee County, where I’ve had the honor of stepping into this role,” said Gansner. “It’s a responsibility I take seriously, working every day to ensure fairness and understanding in our court system.”

In his short time on the bench, Gansner has emphasized the need for clear communication and a practical approach to justice, both for those appearing in his court and for the community at large.

Gansner’s legal career includes 10 years as an Associate Federal Defender in Milwaukee, defending indigent clients against federal felony charges. He also served on the Local Rules Committee for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and has been involved in community service.

Gansner is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law and Pomona College. Gansner lives in Shorewood with his wife and two children.
