American Family Field Homestand Highlights: May 8-14

Fans Look Forward to Picnic Blankets, Furry Friends and Math Day at American Family Field

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers return home to American Family Field after facing the Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals on the road. The Brewers will host the New York Yankees Friday through Sunday (May 8-10) and San Diego Padres Tuesday through Thursday (May 12-14).

On Friday, May 8, the Brewers will induct CC Sabathia and Dave Parker into the Brewers Wall of Honor. Sabathia and the family of Dave Parker will be recognized on the field with a special pregame video and a ceremonial first pitch. The Brewers Wall of Honor recognizes the most accomplished players, coaches and contributors in franchise history who have made a lasting impact on the organization. It serves as a permanent tribute at American Family Field, celebrating those who helped shape the Brewers both on and off the field.

The Crew is setting a new standard in MLB broadcast on Brewers.TV, becoming the only team to deploy all four cutting-edge camera technologies including the wire cam, dirt cam, drone and the newly introduced ump cam – the latter debuting during the Yankees series, enhancing the viewing experience with unique, immersive perspectives.

Brewers Community Foundation will host its annual BCF Weekend, May 8-10. Fans are encouraged to join BCF on the Field Level at the right-field corner for fundraising games and sales that support the foundation’s mission to positively impact the lives of children and their families in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin. BCF Weekends are presented by the Brewers Community Foundation Leadership Council. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to purchase BCF Mother’s Day gift packs which include a Brewers cap, wine glass, tote bag and ticket vouchers for select Brewers games.

Fan-favorite Bark in the Park, presented by Tavo Pets, returns on Tuesday, May 12 at American Family Field. Fans who purchase a special Theme Night ticket will receive a Brewers dog toy and the opportunity to bring their furry friend to the ballpark to cheer on the Crew. Pets and humans alike will have the opportunity to partake in pet-friendly activations on the Terrace Level, including photo ops, marketplace stands and vendors focused on furry friends.

Students and teachers are invited to join the Crew on Thursday, May 14, for the final educational day of the season, Math Day. Students will have the opportunity to put their math skills to the test as the Brewers take on the San Diego Padres. Tickets are still available for Math Day by calling 414-902-4777.

Limited ticket inventory remains for the Yankees Series (May 8-10). Tickets are available for May 12-14 and all remaining games of the season. Fans can secure their tickets to any Brewers home game at brewers.com, 1-800-933-7890 or at the American Family Field Box Office.

Friday, May 8 vs. New York Yankees – 6:40 p.m.

Wisconsin First Friday, presented by Pick ‘n Save – All Wisconsin residents save 50 percent on tickets on the first Friday of each month. Excludes the Miller Lite Beerpen, All-Inclusive Areas, Platinum Seats and Uecker Seats.

Miller Lite Beerpen, presented by Miller Lite – The left-field Loge Bleachers turn into the Miller Lite Beerpen for every Friday night home game. Fans 21+ receive a free Brewers cap with their Beerpen ticket.

Season Seat Member Appreciation Day – Brewers Season Seat Members receive 25 percent off concessions and $25 off retail purchases of $100 or more.

Saturday, May 9 vs. New York Yankees – 6:10 p.m.
Grand Slam Teacher of the Month, presented by Window Nation – May’s Grand Slam Teacher of the Month is Ka Kong, a sixth-grade math teacher from Milwaukee. Kong is intentional with her instruction, allowing her scholars to navigate their own journey when solving math problems. Kong will be honored on field and throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Sunday, May 10 vs. New York Yankees – 1:10 p.m.
Brewers Picnic Blanket, presented by American Family Insurance – The first 10,000 ticketed fans aged 21+ will receive a Brewers-themed picnic blanket, while supplies last.

Ceremonial First Pitch – Brewers Honorary Bat Girl and Aurora Health Care® Breast Cancer Fighter, Kelly Jaeger.

Honorary Bat Girl – In honor of Mother’s Day and the fight against breast cancer, Aurora patient, Kelly Jaeger, is being honored as the Brewers Honorary Bat Girl. Prior to the game, Kelly will be celebrated with a special ceremony, featuring custom gifts that include a pink replica baseball bat, pink floral arrangement and specialty “Jaeger” jersey. She will also throw out a ceremonial first pitch, courtesy of Aurora Health Care®.

Breast Cancer Pink-Out – Aurora Health Care® has dedicated the Mother’s Day game to the recognition of breast cancer patients, survivors and family members. Pre-game ceremonies will include an on-field display of a Pink Ribbon during the National Anthem, held by Aurora Health Care patients and guests, a Pink-Out T-Shirt distribution for those seated in designated Field and Loge Bleacher sections, and a special first pitch for Kelly Jaeger, Honorary Bat Girl and current patient at Aurora Health Care® undergoing treatment for breast cancer. During the game, three breast cancer survivors will be recognized as they “Ring the Bell” to celebrate the conclusion of their treatment. There will be concourse activations on the Field Level where fans can inscribe personal dedications to friends, family members or loved ones that have been impacted by breast cancer on a pink brick wall display and enjoy photo opportunities with a unique pink-out inspired backdrop.

Family Sundays at American Family Field –

  • Autograph Sundays, presented by efrutti: Children ages 14 and under are invited to the seats by the warning track to receive an autograph from a Brewers player, alumni and/or other Brewers personality from 11:50 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. every Sunday home game from April through August. Up to six different stations will feature a player or other personality each Sunday. Autographs are limited to one per child and full-sized bats are not allowed.
  • Mini Sausage Race, presented by Johnsonville®: The Famous Racing Sausages® are joined on the warning track by their mini version in a kid’s sausage race.
  • Kids Run the Bases, presented by Aurora Health Care®: Following all Sunday home games, kids 14 and under are invited onto the field to run the bases.

SOLD OUT: Family Sunday Bundle – Families can get four tickets, a general parking pass, four junior hot dogs, chips and bottled water for $85 all-in. The Family Sunday Bundle is sold out for this game.

Tuesday, May 12 vs. San Diego Padres – 6:40 p.m.
Theme Night: Bark at the Park, presented by Tavo Pets – Pups are invited to the ballpark to watch the game and receive a one-of-a-kind Brewers dog toy with the purchase of a special Theme Night ticket. Each game ticket includes a donation to the Wisconsin Humane Society. Pets and humans alike will have the opportunity to partake in pet-friendly activations on the Terrace Level, including photo ops, marketplace stands and vendors focused on furry friends.

Jr. Superfan Spotlight – May’s Jr. Superfan Spotlight honoree of the month is Hazel Noeske, an 11-year-old from Johnson Creek, Wis. Hazel knocks it out of the park when it comes to school spirit, showing up with a positive attitude, community involvement and love of her hometown team, the Milwaukee Brewers. Hazel will be honored on field and throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

World Baseball Classic On-Field Presentation – Manager Pat Murphy will present Brice Turang with the World Baseball Classic All-Tournament Team trophy.

Math Day – Join the Crew for the final educational day of the spring, Math Day. Students will learn basic statistical principles through the game of baseball. In advance of the game, teachers will receive a Brewers Math Day workbook to incorporate into their lesson plans leading up to the event. At the game, students will put their math skills to the test by completing the workbook using elements of the game against the Padres. Each ticket includes a free hot dog and bottled water for each student. Math Day tickets are still available by calling 414-902-4777.
