Alderwoman Andrea M. Pratt has been elected to serve as Regional Director of Region 7 (North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin) for the National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBC-LEO), a committee of the National League of Cities. Established in 1970, NBC-LEO is a space for members to express themselves, share best practices and ensure that the National League of Cities’ policies and programs benefit their community. NBC-LEO serves as a vehicle for members to discuss problems and explore solutions, debate policy issues, and contribute to the success of American cities and towns. The group meets three times a year in person and hosts a variety of webinars and programs throughout the year.

“I’m honored to be a part of the National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials as they do tremendous work tackling current issues facing the African-American community, and I am excited to serve in a leadership role. I look forward to working with my counterparts on innovative ways to create stronger, more equitable cities, towns and villages across the country,” said Alderwoman Pratt.
