The town hall dates and locations are as follows:

  • Tuesday, October 22, 6 – 8 p.m. – Grant Elementary, 2920 W. Grant St.

  • Thursday, October 24, 6 – 8 p.m. – Doerfler Elementary, 3014 W. Scott St.

At each meeting there will be representatives from city departments present – including the Milwaukee Police Department – to address questions and concerns that residents may have. Some topics that will likely be discussed during the meetings are the 2014 city budget, crime and crime prevention, sanitation, recycling, and neighborhood development, to name a few.

The meeting at the Boys & Girls Club on October 23 will specifically address the recent shootings in and around that area, and police officers will be present at this meeting to discuss the details of these incidents.
