MILWAUKEE – 1881 Event Production Company will host ILLÜMINATE MKE powered by Lüm Music on October 11th, 2019 at Veteran’s Park.
“ILLÜMINATE MKE is will bring the community together. Both on a larger level of Milwaukee and in our smaller university communities as Milwaukee has 3 different college campuses and they are separated within our larger community.” Said Izzy Staton, CEO of 1881 Event Productions.
Staton said her team began organizing the event as a collective homecoming for all schools, but it has grown into an exciting night of entertainment for all of Milwaukee’s young adults.
“The goal is to bring the universities together and highlight Milwaukee through our artists and vendors. Additionally, we want to make it a recurring event to bring more people into Milwaukee.”
ILLÜMINATE MKE is a celebration of several world-class local artists set along the shore of Milwaukee’s beautiful lakefront. The festival is an environment where students from across the Greater Milwaukee Area can come together to enjoy exceptional music performances and delicious food in an unforgettable setting.
The event will last from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.with artist meet and greets, 6 main stage performances, food and drink vendors, a zip-line, and campfires.
Artists include Bok Nero x Shizz Lo, WebsterX, Genesis Renji, DJay Mando, Galvanic, and more. The artist’s genres vary from EDM to rap to alternative to house trap. The wide range of music will cater to everyone’s tastes.
