Puttin’ on the Ritz
For more information, call: Laura K. at 414-258-2333 Nov. 30, 2015 For Immediate Release Get Ritzy and Glitzy at Zoological Society Boxing Fundraiser Proceeds Support Milwaukee County Zoo and Conservation Projects “Jab, jab, give ‘em a left, right, left!” Are you ready for a night of exciting amateur boxing, gourmet dining, drinks and a live voice auction? If so, register for the Zoological Society of Milwaukee’s 21st annual Puttin’ on the Ritz fundraiser, sponsored by Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek. This swank, black-tie event is held at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino and raised $204,652 for the nonprofit Zoological Society in 2015. The boxing ring is sponsored by Bridgewood Advisors. Amateur boxing is sponsored by Master Z’s and arranged by the Future Olympian Boxing Association. Guests include business leaders from southeastern Wisconsin. Sponsorship of a corporate ringside table of eight is $3,000. Other costs are $200 per person or $2,000 per corporate table of eight. Of the $200 per-person cost, $80 is tax-deductible). Other details: The evening raises money for the Zoological Society and its support of the Milwaukee County Zoo. “Laugh It Up Milwaukee 2016 presents Patton Oswalt to benefit the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center (JCC) and Special Olympics Wisconsin. Saturday, January 30th at The Riverside Theater at 8:00 pm. Individual tickets are $45 - $95 and may be purchased at www.laughitupmilwaukee.org or www.pabsttheater.org. Laugh It Up Milwaukee is an annual event designed to show the power of organizations coming together to build a healthier Milwaukee. This year’s event will focus on children and adults with special needs in our community by partnering with Special Olympics Wisconsin, as well as supporting special needs programs at the JCC.
