For people who are uninsured or need to re-enroll in the Marketplace, two open houses on December 10 will provide free, confidential help shopping for affordable health care coverage. In Milwaukee, 9 out of 10 people receive financial assistance for Marketplace coverage. The Health Insurance Open House will be on Thursday, December 10 from 2 pm to 7 pm at Aurora Family Services, 3200 W. Highland Boulevard and Walker's Point Community Clinic, 130 Bruce Street.

Griffin House to play Wisconsin Singer-Songwriter Series

The Grand Comedy Show is an all new comedy show Downtown Milwaukee! Featuring stand up comedy from Headliner Stewart Huff with Vincent Holiday and all new improvised comedy from The Click! Welcome comedian Vincent Holiday, improv comedy powerhouses The Click! and headliner Stewart Huff to the stage December 12th at 8pm at The UC. Huff is a lovable southerner, Holiday is an adorable nerd, and both are hilarious! Ex Fabula's StorySlams are the ultimate in feel-good entertainment. The last 3 monthly events have sold out, but fortunately this event is in a larger venue so it's the perfect time to check out Ex Fabula and hear true, personal stories from Milwaukeeans just like you. While you're at it, you'll be strengthening community bonds and falling in love with the city just a little bit more. The Ex Fabula Spectacular is a special noncompetitive StorySlam with new, longer stories from storytellers chosen by a jury of Ex Fabula volunteers. Features tellers who shared compelling stories at regular season Slams alongside tellers from community partnerships. Doors open at 6:30 pm and seating is General Admission.
