WPCA Presents: AwA at Kenilworth Gallery!

Join us for a day of art-making that explores Native American stories in Wisconsin. Students will meet Valaria Tatera, a contemporary Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa artist.

We will deepen our understanding and respect for Indigenous identities, languages, and histories through art-making, interactive displays, picture books, and discussions.

Schedule
1:00 p.m. – Drop-off at WPCA
1:15 p.m. – Bus departs to Kenilworth Gallery
1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Art-making
4:30 p.m. – Bus departs to WPCA
5:00 p.m. – Pick up at WPCA

Afternoons with Art (AwA) is a series of art workshops held on MPS NO SCHOOL DAYS from 1–5 p.m. for students 6-12 years old. AwA classes are fun and give students an extensive session on art and expression.
