Winter Break Milwaukee is a weekend winter festival meant to coax people out of hibernation and into the outdoors. It’s returning for a second year with double the dates and locations to make winter accessible to even more Milwaukeeans. This year’s activities are fat tire bike rides from Wheel & Sprocket, winter surfing lessons from High 5 Surfing, nordic walking, dog sled demos, tea-tasting classes with Tootsies Teas, and cold dip. Warm yourself through with free hot cocoa and bonfires ‘n’ s’mores. There will also be N/A Old Fashioneds available for purchase from Tootsies Teas. This event is free and everyone is welcome. Dig out your best snowsuit because this event goes on no matter the weather. Snow and ice unlock more wintry activities, like snowshoeing and snow sculpting competitions.
