Strangelander has been called a Milwaukee supergroup, as it is comprised of leaders and members of notable bands including the Static Chicken, De La Buena, Amanda Huff, You Win!!, Tontine Ensemble, November Criminals and more. If a genre must be applied to their music, it might be Alternative World music.

A renaissance man in the truest sense of the word, musician/magician/actor Garrett Waite traverses many disciplines and mediums to provide original and life affirming experiences. A student of music driven by deep curiosity, Garrett is comfortable in the realms of jazz, folk, rock, avant-garde, world music, and more. Despite his eclectic leanings, his music always retains a distinct melodicism and humanness that cut through no matter the musical setting. In 2022 he was an Artist in Residence at the historic Jazz Estate, and currently runs a monthly jam session at Bar Centro.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door (advance tickets available until 3 p.m. day of show). Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show will begin at 7 p.m.
