Wisconsin Humanities Council is sponsoring a series of FREE presentations at the Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear in coordination with the museum’s Forward Wisconsin Women exhibit.

Wisconsin was the first state to ratify the 19th Amendment to the Constitution on June 10, 1919. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of this event in Wisconsin’s history and the campaign for women’s suffrage, join Anita Pietrykowski in a presentation on Milwaukee Suffragists. Explore the history of the suffrage movement and recount the interesting stories of women and men in Milwaukee’s past who were suffragists.
