• New dancers welcomed! No partner necessary! No experience necessary!
• If you can walk, you can contra dance
• If new, consider joining in the fun lesson/orientation a half hour before the dance. If you can’t make that, show up anyway, you’ll pick it up!!
• Many of us bring clean, soft soled shoes to change into to protect floors. At the very least, clean the sand, salt and pebbles from your soles.
• Bring friends for more fun!
• Community dancing for all ages.
• High energy, live music.
• Each dance is taught, then danced to live music for about 5-8 minutes.
• Everyone makes mistakes but nobody cares.
• The more you do it, the easier and more fun it becomes.
• Treat one another with care and respect, smile and have a good time.
• Bring a water bottle as dancing is a great workout!
