Tom Tiffany Signs Taxpayer Protection Pledge to Oppose New Tax Hikes
MADISON, WI – Tom Tiffany is making it clear to Wisconsin families: he is the only candidate for Governor who will protect them from tax hikes.
Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), the nation’s leading taxpayer protection group, has confirmed that Tiffany has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge to “oppose and veto any and all efforts to increase taxes.”
ATR notes that Tiffany previously signed this pledge in his campaigns for Congress and has proposed a 10% income tax cut for working families earning less than $150,000, eliminating state income taxes on tips and overtime, returning Wisconsin’s surplus to taxpayers, and preventing additional sales tax increases.
This starkly contrasts with Democrat David Crowley, who has repeatedly raised property and sales taxes on the people of Milwaukee County. Crowley loves tax hikes so much, he celebrated one of his several tax increases with a cake.
The choice is clear: David Crowley will raise taxes on Wisconsin families and make our state more expensive to live in; Tom Tiffany will fight for tax relief and make our state more affordable.
