David Crowley Honors Hispanic Heritage Month
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Today, on the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, David Crowley released the following statement:
“Al comenzar a celebrar el Mes de la Herencia Hispana y Latina, honramos la diversidad, la cultura y las contribuciones de la comunidad latina de Wisconsin. Los hispanos y latinos tienen un largo legado de impacto en nuestra comunidad a través de un compromiso inquebrantable con la familia, la fe, el trabajo duro y el servicio.
“Pienso especialmente en las familias señaladas por el gobierno federal y que sufren ataques a sus derechos. Estoy con ustedes y, como gobernador, siempre lucharé para protegerlos.
“Prometo ser un gobernador para toda la gente de Wisconsin y continuar trabajando junto a nuestra población hispana para atender las necesidades de nuestras comunidades y lograr avances en todo nuestro estado.
“¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana, Wisconsin!”

“I’m thinking particularly about the families who have been singled-out by the federal government and are seeing their rights under attack. I stand with you, and as governor, I will always fight to protect you.
“I promise to be a governor for all Wisconsinites and to continue working with our Hispanic population to meet the needs of our communities and to make progress across our state.
