Diesel Prices Hit Record High of $6 Nationally Courtesy of Tom Tiffany and Donald Trump’s Unaffordable MAGA Agenda
The diesel price record comes as Tiffany chickened out of doing more than one debate.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Today, diesel prices soared to a new record high at $6 per gallon nationally. Experts say this is largely the result of Donald Trump’s war with Iran, which MAGA Congressman Tom Tiffany has voted to continue every time despite claiming he wants it to end. Earlier this week, Congressman Tiffany dismissed doing more than one debate, highlighting his belief that “one debate will be sufficient to cover the issues in this race” as he continues to hide from voters and the media.
“It’s clear why Tom Tiffany is refusing more debates—he’s too busy breaking the wrong records, causing Wisconsin families greater pain at the pump, and running away from accountability,” said Crowley. “While I’ve worked to deliver relief for families, MAGA Congressman Tom Tiffany is focused on making life more expensive for working Wisconsinites, farmers, and manufacturers. As governor, I’ll repeal the minimum gas tax to put more money back into the pockets of Wisconsin families—and I look forward to sharing more about my plan to lower costs with Wisconsinites on the debate stage.”
According to Politico, diesel prices have risen nearly 60 percent in the past 12 months. Between the war and new tariffs, fear across Wisconsin’s agriculture and manufacturing sectors is growing as profit margins decline and hopes for a prosperous season diminish thanks to Donald Trump and Tom Tiffany’s affordability crisis.
