Milwaukee Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Double Shooting on W. Walnut Street
Milwaukee Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred on Friday, August 28th, 2026, at approximately 3:43 a.m., on the 2600 block of W. Walnut Street. A suspect in a car fired shots at the victims subsequently striking the victims. The first victim, a 39-year-old, sustained fatal gunshot wounds and died at the scene. The second victim, a 33-year-old, was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
