Waukesha County Green Team Invites Community to Celebrate Sustainability at the 2026 Farm to Fork Fundraiser
WAUKESHA, WI – Waukesha County Green Team (WCGT) invites the community to gather for an unforgettable afternoon of local food and community connection at its 2nd annual Farm to Fork Fundraiser set to take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 11am to 3pm at the beautiful Rustic Manor 1848. This family-friendly event celebrates the power of local actions to create a healthier, more resilient Waukesha County while raising critical funds to support WCGT’s environmental initiatives.
The Farm to Fork event offers guests an opportunity to enjoy a locally sourced lunch, live music, interactive exhibits, a silent auction, guided bird walk, beautiful native gardens, and a stroll along a trail that adjoins the Bark River. Wild Life in Need will participate with their animal ambassadors.
“Special this year, we are honoring the work of naturalist and biologist Marlin Johnson, whose innovation and dedication to conservation have created a lasting environmental impact on our Waukesha County community,” said Debra Schneider, president of the Waukesha County Green Team, “We welcome all to join us for an enjoyable afternoon of exceptional food and camaraderie.”.
Proceeds from the event directly support Waukesha County Green Team’s work to:
- Expand native habitat and biodiversity corridors throughout Waukesha County.
- Educate residents and municipalities on movement toward renewable energy
- Empower families and communities to take meaningful environmental actions
- Strengthen community partnerships that protect the environment for future generations.
