10th Annual Green & Healthy Schools Conference

Milwaukee, WI — Reflo and the Green Schools Consortium of Milwaukee (GSCM) are excited to welcome educators, school leaders, students, community partners, and environmental advocates to the 10th Annual Green & Healthy Schools Conference on Friday, August 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Morse School for the Gifted and Talented, 6700 N. 80th St., Milwaukee, WI 53223.

Celebrating a decade of advancing greener, healthier learning environments, this year’s conference is expected to bring together more than 500 attendees, 80+ exhibitors, and 20+ educational sessions and workshops focused on sustainability, environmental education, climate resilience, and healthy schools.

Hosted at Morse School for the Gifted and Talented—a Milwaukee Public School that completed its Green & Healthy Schoolyard redevelopment in 2024—the conference will showcase how transformed schoolyards can support outdoor learning, recreation, stormwater management, biodiversity, and student well-being.

Conference sessions will cover topics including green schoolyard design,, student engagement, outdoor learning, sustainability practices, health and wellness, community partnerships, and climate resilience. Attendees will have opportunities to connect with local organizations, discover funding and curriculum resources, participate in interactive workshops, and tour Morse’s fantastic outdoor learning spaces.

The conference will also recognize individuals, schools, and organizations through the annual Green & Healthy Schools Conference Awards, celebrating the diverse partners whose leadership and behind-the-scenes work continue to strengthen Milwaukee’s growing green schools movement.

Registration is $60 per person and remains open through August 4th. Educators, administrators, nonprofit organizations, municipal leaders, students, and community members are encouraged to attend.

The Green Schools Consortium of Milwaukee (GSCM) is a regional network of individuals and organizations that come together to promote sustainability projects in the Milwaukee area.
