David Crowley Meets Voters Across Wisconsin to Kick Off Final Week of Campaign
David engaged voters in Wausau, Rhinelander, Woodruff, Ashland, Superior, and Hudson over the weekend
WISCONSIN – This weekend, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, Candidate for Governor, traveled across Wisconsin to meet voters where they are, discuss his vision for Wisconsin, and highlight his proven track record of delivering results for working families.
On Saturday, David Crowley made visits to Wausau, Rhinelander, Woodruff, and Ashland. On Sunday, he visited Superior, Hudson, Gordon, and Colfax. Throughout the weekend, David held town halls with voters, participated in local events, and stopped by small businesses and cultural amenities to reach undecided voters and spread the word about the campaign’s growing momentum.
“I’m traveling across Wisconsin to earn the support of the many voters who are still deciding how they’ll cast their ballots in this primary,” said Crowley. “During the final push this week, we’ll continue reaching voters in every corner of the state with a message rooted in experience, proven results, and the ability to win in November. Because the stakes for Wisconsin’s families have never been higher.”
Crowley’s visits come among public polling that shows a significant share of Democratic primary voters remain undecided. Recent polling also shows that David Crowley is the strongest general election candidate to defeat Tom Tiffany in November. At a time when defeating MAGA Republicans must be the party’s top priority, that distinction matters.
The campaign continues to gain momentum with endorsements from Governor Tony Evers, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, labor unions, mayors and local elected officials from across the state.
“Everywhere I go, I hear the same thing. People are tired of politics that divide us and they want leaders who know how to bring people together and deliver results,” Crowley said. “That’s exactly what I’ve done as Milwaukee County Executive, and it’s how I’ll lead as governor. We can build an economy that works for everyone, strengthen our public schools, keep our communities safe, and win this fight for Wisconsin’s future if we do it together.”
David Crowley is the Milwaukee County Executive and the first African American and youngest person elected to that office. Raised in Milwaukee in a union household, David has balanced billion-dollar budgets, delivered the largest property tax cut in county history, cut opioid overdose deaths in half, and added over 1,000 units of affordable housing in six years, including in suburban communities for the first time. He has won every race for the Wisconsin state Legislature and Milwaukee County Executive.
The Democratic primary is August 11, 2026. For more information about Crowley and his campaign, visit crowleyforwi.com.
