Packers Announce Roster Moves
The Green Bay Packers have signed LS Cal Adomitis (AA-dum-EYE-tiss) and WR Kaden Prather (KAY-den PRAY-thur), released K Lenny Krieg (KREEG) and waived/injured WR Brenden Rice. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Friday.
Adomitis (6-2, 235), is a fifth-year player from the University of Pittsburgh who originally signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022 as an undrafted free agent and went on to play 49 regular-season games and three postseason contests for the Bengals (2022-24). He was released toward the end of the 2025 training camp and went on to play nine games for the Philadelphia Eagles last season before ending the year on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad. He will wear No. 43 for the Packers.
Prather (6-3, 204), a first-year player out of the University of Maryland, originally was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round (No. 240 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft but was waived/injured at the end of training camp. He helped the Louisville Kings win the UFL championship this past spring. In college, Prather played at West Virginia (2021-22) and Maryland (2023-24), finishing with 162 receptions for 1,966 yards (12.1 avg.) and 12 touchdowns in 48 games. He will wear No. 89 for the Packers.
