Packers Announce Roster Moves
The Green Bay Packers have signed K Lenny Krieg (KREEG) and TE Thomas Yassmin (YAZ-min) and released EDGE Dante Barnett and K Lucas Havrisik (HAVE-ruh-sick). General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Tuesday.
Krieg (6-1, 210), who is from Berlin, Germany, originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on March 28, 2025, and spent last season on the Falcons’ practice squad as part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program. He signed with the New York Jets this offseason but was released on June 1. Krieg appeared in 24 games for the Stuttgart Surge of the European League of Football (ELF) over two seasons (2023-24), going 19 for 26 (73.1 pct.) on field-goal attempts, with a career long of 52 yards. Additionally, he converted 101 of 126 extra-point attempts (80.2 pct.). Krieg also appeared in four playoff games for the Surge, going 2 for 3 on field-goal attempts (66.7 pct.) and 8 for 15 on extra point attempts (53.3 pct.). He will wear No. 18 for the Packers.
Yassmin (6-5, 245), a native of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, joins the Packers as part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program. He originally signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Utah on May 10, 2024, and went on to spend his rookie season on the Broncos’ practice squad as part of the NFL’s IPP. He was released by Denver in May 2025 and signed with the Los Angeles Chargers during the 2025 training camp. He spent last season on the Chargers’ practice squad as part of the NFL’s IPP and was released this past May. Yassmin appeared in 47 games (10 starts) in five seasons at Utah (2019-2023), recording 22 receptions for 396 yards (18.0 avg.) and seven touchdowns. He played rugby at the Scots College in New South Wales, Australia, and was named to the Australian Schools Barbarians All-Star team in 2017. Yassmin will wear No. 84 for the Packers.
Barnett joined Green Bay’s practice squad as part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program on Oct. 29, 2025, and spent the remainder of the season there.
Havrisik played in three games for the Packers last season in place of injured K Brandon McManus, connecting on all four field goals and 7 of 9 extra points (77.8 pct.) after being signed on Oct. 11, 2025.
