Experienced Attorney and Community Leader Pledges Fairness, Integrity, and Respect for Every Person Who Enters the Courtroom

MILWAUKEE — Attorney Ben Glicksman today announced his candidacy for Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge, pledging to bring fairness, diligence, and integrity to the bench.

“We need leaders we can be proud of,” said Glicksman. “These days, we can look around our country, and see leaders who act like character, honor, and rules don’t matter. I want to set a higher standard – one that my kids can be proud of.”

A graduate of Harvard Law School, Glicksman has spent more than 15 years practicing law in Wisconsin, representing individuals, workers, families, and businesses in complex legal matters. His experience includes high-stakes litigation, class action cases, business disputes, and serving as in-house counsel for a major consumer goods company.

“I am running because I believe our courts work best when judges are prepared, impartial, and committed to treating every person with dignity and respect,” said Glicksman. “Throughout my career, I’ve seen how much a judge’s decisions—and just as importantly, a judge’s demeanor—can impact the lives of the people who come before the court.”

The son of an attorney who represented crime victims, Glicksman said his commitment to public service was shaped at an early age and has guided his legal career ever since.

“A judge’s responsibility is to listen carefully, apply the law fairly, and ensure that everyone who enters the courtroom has confidence they were heard,” Glicksman said. “I would be honored to serve Milwaukee County in that role.”

Glicksman and his wife, Kelsey, are raising their daughters in Milwaukee County and are active members of the community. He currently serves on the Fox Point Police Commission and spent a decade volunteering as an advisor to youth with BBYO’s Wisconsin Region.
