MADISON, Wis. — It’s been nearly four years to the day since Trump’s Supreme Court issued their Dobbs decision, and since then elected Wisconsin Republicans have taken every chance they can to institute dangerous and archaic anti-abortion laws. But since 2022, Wisconsinites have made clear there are consequences for those who try to take away their constituents’ personal freedoms, handing the GOP and conservatives defeats in numerous statewide races and setting up Democrats to secure both lower chambers this cycle.

“Assembly Republicans’ most endangered candidates are already on thin ice with voters because of how they’ve tanked the economy — add their unpopular anti-choice records to the mix and they are going to have a hell of a time trying to get re-elected,” said Democratic spokesperson Rachel La Due. “Assembly members like Pat Snyder, Ben Franklin, Todd Novak, Bob Donovan, Clint Moses, and Shannon Zimmerman want to be in the doctors’ offices with Wisconsin women as they make incredibly personal choices—talk about a bunch of creeps.”
