Milwaukee Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting, Arrest One Suspect

Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at approximately 3:49 a.m., on the 4400 block of S. 27th St. The victims, an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old, were shot and transported to a hospital for medical treatment for non-fatal injuries. The shooting is the result of a fight. A 20-year-old male suspect was arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. Milwaukee Police continue to seek additional unknown suspects.
