West Allis Farmers Market Opens for the Season on Saturday, May 2
WEST ALLIS, WIS – The West Allis Farmers Market, voted Best Farmers Market by both the Shepherd Express and Milwaukee Magazine, returns for its 107th season on Saturday, May 2 at 1 p.m. with a variety of seasonal produce, fresh meats and eggs, specialty foods, food trucks, local brews and more.
New farmers this year include Cha Family Fields, Good Dog Farms, JY Produce, and Micro Greens for Humanity Vendors. New specialty and food vendors include Cassie’s Cakes MKE (baked goods), Dalla Terra Pasta (dried pasta), Der Hoffskeller (refillable whole bean and ground coffee), Kernen Farms (pickles), P&B’s Cuisine (fried rice, fried noodles), Rodeo Matcha (matcha tea lattes), Smoothie Moves (non-dairy, plant based smoothies), Teddy’s Tallow Chips (potato chips), Xavier’s Crepes (French crepes), Bell’Assai Bistro (espresso, tea and lemonade), Cheu’s Kitchen (fry noodles, spring rolls, egg rolls), Lady Strawberry (strawberry themed desserts), Moon Dude Coffee (coffee, espresso, lattes), and Versie’s Cookie & Bake Shop (baked goods and espresso drinks). Vendors may vary each market day.
The market is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon – 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 – 5 p.m. through Nov. 28.
Local musicians will play the West Allis Farmers Market from June 4 through Oct.31 on Thursdays and Saturdays from 1 – 4 p.m.
