Libertarian Party of Wisconsin to Host April 4 Town Hall Focused on Local Elections and Party Engagement

Janesville, WI — The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin (LPWI) will host a virtual Town Hall on Saturday, April 4 at 1:00 PM, streaming live on Facebook.

This Town Hall will focus on the critical role of local elections across Wisconsin, where voter participation remains historically low and many races go uncontested. LPWI leadership is encouraging greater awareness and involvement at the local level, emphasizing the direct impact local elections have on communities.

“Local elections are often overlooked, but I can’t think of a more important place for people to get involved,” said Reese Wood. “Too many races go uncontested, and too many voices go unheard.”

In addition to highlighting upcoming election opportunities, the Town Hall will include updates on the upcoming Libertarian Party of Wisconsin State Convention and the Libertarian National Convention in May, taking place in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The event will also provide updates on party growth, member engagement, and ongoing initiatives, including the distribution of membership packages and current fundraising efforts. Raffle tickets supporting LPWI activities remain available.

“This Town Hall is about transparency, accessibility, and giving our members and the public a real voice in the direction of the party,” Wood added.

The Town Hall will begin with a presentation from Chair Wood, followed by an open Q&A session where attendees can ask questions and engage directly with party leadership.

The event is open to the public.
