MADISON, Wis. — Tonight, Wisconsin voters saw a stark contrast between the two candidates for the Wisconsin Supreme Court: Judge Maria Lazar and Chris Taylor. While Taylor dodged questions and misrepresented her record, Judge Lazar spoke candidly with voters, proudly defending her principled, independent approach to the bench.
“The winner of tonight’s debate was clear: Judge Maria Lazar,” said WisGOP Spokesperson Anika Rickard. “Chris Taylor spent the entire evening running from her record of failing to protect victims, violating her own recusal rules, and placing far-left policy priorities ahead of her duty as a judge. In contrast, Maria Lazar proved once again that she is the only candidate in this race committed to following the rule of law and the Constitution.”
