WisDems Chair on Judge Chris Taylors Decisive SCOWIS Debate Victory
MADISON, Wis. — Tonight, Judge Chris Taylor successfully made the case for why she is the right choice to serve as our next justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, while Maria Lazar showed Wisconsinites once again that she is nothing more than a puppet for right-wing extremists and will use the court to push her partisan agenda.
In response to Judge Taylor’s victory, WisDems Chair Devin Remiker released the following statement:
“Judge Chris Taylor proved she is the only candidate who will fight for the rights and freedoms of all Wisconsinites on our state Supreme Court. Maria Lazar would be a puppet for the out-of-state right-wing billionaires funding her campaign and push an extreme agenda that would rip apart our state. Wisconsinites don’t need an extremist like Lazar who applauded Roe being overturned and tried to turn over our personal voting information to Trump’s henchmen. With Trump attacking our democracy like never before, it is imperative that on April 7th we defend our fundamental rights and freedoms by electing Judge Chris Taylor.”
