Lily Pad Gallery West is pleased to present “Liminal Worlds: France Jodoin’s Contemporary Romanticism” a solo exhibition featuring new maritime works by acclaimed contemporary artist France Jodoin. France Jodoin’s luminous canvases exist in the fleeting space between what we know and what we imagine. Drawing inspiration from European Romantic masters including J.M.W. Turner, Rembrandt, and Gustave Moreau, the Quebec-based artist has developed a distinctive semi-abstract style that contemporizes the landscape tradition while exploring profound themes of time, memory, and transience.
