RON Coalition Launches New Website to Expand Access to Critical Housing Data Across Milwaukee Neighborhoods
Milwaukee, WI — March 30, 2026— The RON (Reclaiming Our Neighborhoods) Coalition is proud to announce the launch of its new website, making vital housing data and resources more accessible to neighborhoods across Milwaukee.
For decades, Milwaukee’s neighborhoods have been shaped by redlining, urban renewal policies, predatory lending, and systemic disinvestment. These longstanding inequities have contributed to vacant properties, aging housing stock, and deferred maintenance, all of which impact residents’ health, safety, and neighborhood stability.
The RON Coalition brings together neighborhood organizations, public partners, and community stakeholders to document housing conditions at the parcel level through hands-on surveys. These surveys collect real-time data on exterior housing conditions, helping identify properties that may pose health and safety risks. This information allows neighborhoods and city leaders to prioritize action where it is needed most.
RON’s impact to date includes:
- Tens of thousands of parcel-level housing assessments conducted across Milwaukee neighborhoods
- Actionable data used by community organizations and city leaders to inform decisions and investments
