Fatal Pedestrian Collision Under Investigation in Milwaukee; Driver Arrested
Milwaukee Police are investigating a pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle that occurred on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at approximately 11:17 p.m., on the 4800 block of W. Burleigh. A pedestrian was crossing the street northbound across W Burleigh when they were struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on W. Burleigh. The victim, a 73-year-old, succumbed to injuries sustained during the collision and was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the vehicle, a 44-year-old male, remained on scene and was arrested in connection with this incident. This investigation is ongoing. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
