Villa Terrace Museum & Gardens Shares January and February Activities
Milwaukee (January 6, 2026) – This January and February, Villa Terrace Museum & Gardens is hosting a variety of activities to break up the winter doldrums. The Villa is located at 2220 N. Terrace Ave., Milwaukee, and is open Thursday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults and children age 10 and older.
January Events
- Lindy Hop Dance Class with Paté Nassalang, followed by Social Dance
January 8, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Tickets $15
Nassalang is a professional Swing and Lindy Hop dancer instructor and educator of traditional African dance. He was born and raised in Senegal where he was surrounded by the joys of rhythm and dancing from birth. Nassalang shares a deep love for the early jazz dances that are deeply rooted in his traditional African roots. - Old Sam and the Teardrops Concert
January 11, 2 – 4 p.m., Tickets $20
Enjoy heartfelt music and dancing with Old Sam and the Teardrops, one of Milwaukee’s favorite bands, known for their soulful sound and timeless energy. With the Villa’s lakefront charm as the backdrop, it’s the perfect setting for an afternoon of connection, movement and joy. The concert will close the exhibition, The Beat Goes On, which celebrates the rich history and enduring power of music. - Milwaukee Museum Days

Experience the magic of Broadway in an unforgettable setting. Villa Terrace is thrilled to welcome Lily Soto, who plays Peggy and Maria Reynolds in the smash-hit musical Hamilton, for an intimate morning of music and conversation. Set against the stunning backdrop of the terrace, this workshop will feature a live performance from Soto. Following the performance, enjoy an engaging Q&A session as Soto shares behind-the-scenes stories, insights into bringing Hamilton to life on stage and reflections on what makes the show such a cultural phenomenon. - Restorative Yoga
January 25, 4 – 5 p.m. $15
Restorative Yoga at the Villa is designed to help participants fully unwind. Set in the tranquil atmosphere of the Villa, this slow, deeply soothing practice uses supported poses, calming breathwork and quiet moments of stillness to melt away stress and reset the nervous system. Perfect for all levels. Come rest, recharge and leave feeling renewed. - Milwaukee Wine Academy Wine Tasting & Class
January 26, 6 – 7 p.m., $200
Grape to Glass: Tempranillo – Enjoy a carefully curated tasting and engaging class led by wine experts. From tastings to techniques, each session offers a unique opportunity to learn while enjoying the elegant setting of the historic Villa and gardens. Perfect for beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
February Events
- Open Board Game Play
February 12, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tickets $5, Free for members
Villa Terrace is happy to provide a welcoming space for people to connect and play board games. Groups are welcome to come and play together along with individuals looking for open play. Perfect for beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
Villa Terrace Museum & Gardens is located at 2220 N. Terrace Ave., Milwaukee, and is open Thursday – Sunday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults and children age 10 and older. Students with a valid ID are $10 and seniors who are 60+ and children age 9 and younger are $5. Admission is free for military personnel and their families, including members of the National Guard and Reserve, and for those who receive SNAP, EBT and Quest assistance. A Villa Terrace Museum & Gardens membership is $65 a year and members receive free admission for themselves and two guests, as well as invitations to special events.
