DL Parsons Named to the Pro Bowl

By - Dec 23rd, 2025 09:03 am

Green Bay Packers DL Micah Parsons has been named to the Pro Bowl roster, the league announced today.

Parsons earned his fifth Pro Bowl selection (2021-25) and first as a member of the Packers. He became the first defensive player to be named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first five career seasons since former Los Angeles Rams DL Aaron Donald (10). This marks the seventh consecutive year that a member of the Green Bay defense has been selected for the Pro Bowl. Parsons is tied for No. 5 in the NFL in sacks this season (12.5) and is the only NFL player since 1982 with 12-plus sacks in each of his first five seasons (2021-25). He is tied for No. 1 in the league this season in sacks in the fourth quarter/overtime (eight). Parsons also ranks in the top five of the NFL in Next Gen Stats QB pressures (83, No. 1), NGS pressure rate (21.3 pct., No. 2) and QB hits (26, tied for No. 5). Dating back to 2016 when pressures were first tracked by NGS, Parsons’ 83 pressures are the most by a Packer in a single season (73 by LB Za’Darius Smith in 2019 was the previous high).
