Bublr Bikes, Milwaukee’s non-profit bikeshare operator, is excited to welcome Ted Chisholm as its new Executive Director!

Ted was born and raised in Milwaukee and previously worked as policy advisor for Governor Evers’ office, served as senior administrator for the Clerk of Circuit Court’s Office, and acted as Chief of Staff to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office. Ted has spent his professional career dedicated to public servantry and is eager to shift gears to the philanthropic role that Bublr Bikes is for the communities in Milwaukee.  Ted comes to Bublr with an eagerness for supporting non-profits, and dedication to safe and affordable bikeshare. Welcome aboard and we are looking forward to the ride ahead!

Chisholm will be replacing the organization’s previous director, Laura Bolger, who led Bublr’s 2.0 expansion and oversaw record-breaking ridership. The organization is incredibly grateful for Laura’s leadership and friendship during her role at Bublr Bikes.

“I could not be more excited to join the hardworking team at Bublr Bikes. With the implementation of Bublr 2.0, we are opening a bold new chapter for bikeshare in the greater Milwaukee area,” Chisholm shares. “I look forward to engaging stakeholders throughout our community as we carry Bublr’s mission forward, working creatively and collaboratively to deliver a sustainable, excellent bikeshare system for all.”

The organization is preparing to have an equally successful year, with even more station installations, increased e-bikes, and adaptive bike availability.

Kenge Adams, Board President: “The Bublr Board is proud to welcome Ted Chisholm as our new Executive Director. Ted’s leadership in public policy, strategic administration, and fiscal stewardship, combined with his deep commitment to community well-being and equitable mobility, positions him to guide Bublr’s next phase of growth. As both a dedicated public servant and an avid cyclist, he reflects the values at the core of our mission. We are confident that his vision and experience will help lead this exciting new chapter for Bublr and for Greater Milwaukee.”
