Former Israeli Hostage Moran Stella Yanai To Speak At Milwaukee’s Mega Challah Bake On Nov. 4
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Hundreds of women from across the Milwaukee Jewish community will gather for the annual Mega Challah Bake, hosted by the Jewish Women’s Circle, a division of Lubavitch of Wisconsin. This year’s event will feature Moran Stella Yanai, a former hostage whose remarkable story of faith, resilience, and hope has inspired people around the world.
“This year’s event promises to inspire us to reconnect with our purpose, our people, and our power,” shared community member and table sponsor Debbie Gorman. “Because as Moran’s journey so beautifully teaches us, we are never meant to stand alone. In moments of joy and in moments of pain, community is our greatest source of strength.”
The Mega Challah Bake is part of a global movement celebrating Jewish women, tradition, and connection.
The Peck Foundation Milwaukee, Ltd., a Mega Challah Bake table sponsor, said, “We are proud to support programs that strengthen community ties, celebrate the cultural fabric of Milwaukee, and embody the values that unite us.”
