MSOE ranks among top U.S. institutions for value and graduate salaries

MSOE has once again received national recognition for its academic excellence and career-focused education. The university was ranked #185 out of 584 institutions on the Wall Street Journal’s 2026 Best U.S. Colleges list, affirming its place among the nation’s top universities.

In addition to the overall ranking, MSOE stood out in two key categories:

The Wall Street Journal rankings evaluate colleges based on student outcomes, learning environment and diversity, with a heavy emphasis on salary impact and value for the cost of education.

MSOE graduates continue to be among the most sought-after in the region and beyond, with a strong reputation in engineering, business, nursing, and computer science.
