MADISON, Wis. — In light of Tom Tiffany’s recent announcement that he is running for Governor of Wisconsin, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin is reminding voters of his unwavering support for the GOP’s tariff taxes with a new ad. And it’s easy to see that, whether you’re a Democrat, Republican or Independent, and not a billionaire like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, Wisconsinites are feeling the impact of the tariff taxes; see for yourself with the list below detailing numerous Wisconsin companies that are hurting because of Tom Tiffany.

“Tariff Tom keeps selling out the same working-class Wisconsinites he is pickpocketing with his support for the GOP’s tariff taxes,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman. “He has continued to support the GOP’s Tariff Tax, which has driven up costs for manufacturers, farmers, and families — all while giving a free pass to billionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.”

Tie them all to Trump’s policies. Is it too late to edit the ad to contain info on the Trump administration’s $20B bailout of Argentina? China buys soybeans from Argentina at the expense of US farmers, who haven’t sold any soybeans to China since May because of Trump’s tariffs. So Argentina gets a $20B bail out but US soybean farmers have to suffer?

Wisconsin Soybean Association President Doug Rebout,

“I do not see any short- term, quick fixes that are going to help us. China quit buying from us. China has that relationship built up with Argentina and Brazil”.
