Milwaukee Rep Statement on Flooding at Tosa Production Facility
August 10, 2025 – Milwaukee, WI – In the past 24 hours, unprecedented rainfall has caused severe flooding across Greater Milwaukee affecting many businesses and structures, including Milwaukee Rep’s new production facility in Wauwatosa (1300 Glenview Pl) which is under approximately three feet of water. Our production center houses our scenic and paint shops, as well as much of our equipment, set and prop storage. The full extent of the damage remains unknown as the building is still inaccessible.
Milwaukee Repertory Theater remains resilient and committed to launching the 2025/26 Season as planned. We’re grateful for our dedicated team and will share updates as soon as we’re able to assess the situation.
Our thoughts are with all those impacted by this flooding across the region. We stand with our community as we begin the path to recovery.
