County Executive David Crowley Announces 2026 Budget Listening Sessions
Budget listening sessions provide opportunities for public input in the upcoming budget process
MILWAUKEE – Today, County Executive David Crowley announced Milwaukee County will hold two in-person listening sessions focused on the 2026 budget at Kosciuszko “Kozy” Community Center and Washington Park Senior Center on August 13 and August 20, respectively. These listening sessions will offer residents an opportunity to hear about the County’s vision and mission, provide input on how the County should prioritize limited funding in the upcoming budget, and feature a resource fair before each budget presentation, highlighting Milwaukee County departments, services, and programs.
“Milwaukee County is facing fiscal challenges in the years ahead. As my administration has done in the past, we are committed to identifying meaningful solutions and finding a responsible, transparent path forward,” said County Executive Crowley. “Our budget listening sessions offer an opportunity for residents to learn about our financial outlook and help shape the important decisions we must make for next year’s budget. Community input is more important than ever as we work toward a sustainable future together.”
The listening session at Kosciuszko Community Center will include a hybrid option for virtual participation.
