MPS Summer Programs Underway for Students Across Milwaukee
Summer Academy helps students catch up, get ahead, and start strong in the 2025–26 school year
MILWAUKEE—Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Superintendent Brenda Cassellius today announced the start of MPS Summer Academy. Summer Academy programs will take place at multiple sites across the city of Milwaukee. Students can catch up on credits, enjoy fun summer programming, or take enrichment classes like choir, band, forensic science, cake making, and more.
“Summer is a time for discovery, growth, and connection, and our Summer Academy is designed to give every student that opportunity,” said Dr. Cassellius. “Whether students are catching up on credits, exploring new interests, or preparing for the next school year, MPS is here to support them every step of the way.”Many programs are full, but families can visit a school to find out if space is available.
