Sunset Playhouse Appoints Ella Walker as Managing Director

ELM GROVE, Wis. – Sunset Playhouse, a vibrant and long-standing theater located in Elm Grove, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ella Walker as Managing Director, a newly created leadership position.

“Following an extensive search, the Board is very excited to welcome Ella,” said Marla Eichmann, Board President of Sunset Playhouse. “She brings a fresh perspective, and we believe she is the right person to guide us in this new chapter. Her understanding of and support for the organization’s strategic goals were key factors in our decision. We are thrilled that she accepted the position and look forward to all she will accomplish at the helm.”

Ella Walker is an arts leader, marketer, director, and choreographer from Chicago. She brings more than ten years of experience working with young people and families, along with eight years in arts and nonprofit administration and marketing. Passionate about making the arts more accessible, and fostering sustainable growth within theater organizations, Ella recently earned her master’s degree in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University.

Ella shared, “I’m thrilled to be returning to Wisconsin and joining the Sunset family. I look forward to planting roots in the Milwaukee community and getting to know everyone who makes this theater so special.”
