United Wisconsin Response to State’s Answer to Nascent Political Party’s Legal Challenge

The State’s answer is typical and fully anticipated. We remain confident that our complaint is correct on the merits and will be vindicated in court.

We look forward to revitalizing fusion voting in Wisconsin. That will provide voters the kind of choices and the robust marketplace of ideas that characterized this state’s first 50 years of statehood and helped make Wisconsin a national leader in ideas that have changed America. Strengthening our democracy is essential to address the threat of authoritarianism we now face.

Wisconsin’s Constitution guarantees fundamental rights, and Wisconsinites deserve no less.
