MSOC Adds Seven Signees to 2025 Roster
Golden Eagles round out 2025 roster
MILWAUKEE – Marquette University head men’s soccer coach David Korn has announced the addition of seven student-athletes to cap off the squads 2025 roster. The additions include midfielder Mateo Stoka (Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin), forward Bence Molnar (Budapest, Hungary), defender Andreas Fotland (Drammen, Norway), winger/midfielder Gabriel Miranda (Faro, Portugal), winger Bryce Richards (Chicago, Illinois), defender Drew Mullins (Clearwater, Florida) and midfielder/defender Joey Buchanan (British Columbia, Canada).
Mateo Stoka | Midfielder | Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin | University of Pittsburgh
Prior to Marquette: Attended Pitt since 2022 … Played two seasons and sat out 2023 season due to injury … During the 2024 season, saw action in four matches and played a season high 24 minutes against Howard … Part of Pitt’s first ACC regular season championship team in 2024 that reached the national quarterfinals in the NCAA tournament.
Prep: Played his senior year at Cypress High School in Florida where he netted two goals, six assists and 10 points in 14 matches… Helped lead team to State and Regional championships … Played for Chicago Sockers FC from 2017-2021 and Weston FC from 2021-22… Helped lead Chicago Sockers FC to the 2017 National Cup Championship and the 2019 DA Cup Finals… Chicago Sockers FC was a top-5 ranked Developmental Academy during the 2019 season… Appeared in the US Youth National Team Futures Camp.

Bence Molnar | Forward | Budapest, Hungary | Ottawa University
Prior to Marquette: Attended Ottawa University through his senior season … Scored 61 goals and dished out 24 assists during his time with the Braves … Recorded 230 shots with 141 of them on goal scoring seven game winning goals … Third all-time in program history in career goals, fourth in assists … Second all-time in points with 146 for his career (61 goals, 24 assists).
Why He Chose Marquette: “I chose Marquette because it felt like a place where I’ll be more than just an athlete. They value who you are as a person, and that really stood out to me. At the same time, it’s a strong program with big aspirations, and I want to be part of something that’s pushing for success.”
Andreas Fotland | Defender | Drammen, Norway | Drammen Videregaaende School
Prior to Marquette: A member of Drammen Videregaaende’s team for three years … Played six matches for Norway’s U16 and U17 National Team … Named MVP at Mjoendalen Academy in 2021.
Why He Chose Marquette: “I feel that Marquette is a perfect fit for what I am looking for in a college education and experience. Coach Korn spoke warmly about the team values and soccer program, and his soccer and training philosophy really appeal to me.”
Gabriel Miranda | Winger/Midfielder | Faro, Portugal | Salt Lake Community College/Iowa Lakes CC
Prior to Marquette: Attended Salt Lake CC for his sophomore season and helped his team to Nationals … In 2024 played 19 games … Scored eight goals and dished out 2 assists … Played at Iowa Lakes CC where they won the NJCAA D2 National Championship in 2023 …. Played in 19 matches, scoring 10 goals with six assists … Named 2024 Third Team All-Region… 2023 NJCAA National Champion and named Second Team All-Region.
Why He Chose Marquette: “Coach Korn was really nice to me and he gave me a lot of confidence. The place looks amazing and professional, and I’m looking forward to starting to help the team winning championships next fall.”
Bryce Richards | Winger | Chicago, Illinois | Oak Park and River Forest H.S.
Prep: Attended Oak Park and River Forest high school and was selected to Chicagoland State Team, All Sectional Team, All Conference Team his junior year … Sophomore Year he was named Chicagoland Player to Watch, All Sectional Team … His Junior and Senior Year he became a Member of MLS Pro Chicago Fire II, MLS Next Chicago Fire Academy U18, MLS Next Chicago Fire Academy U19, Chicago Fire Youth Club U17, (Premier) Named Best XI for U17 at USYS Nationals. Over the past year and a half Bryce has primarily played with the Chicago Fire II MLS Next Pro Team where he has made 12 appearances and contributed a goal and assist.

Drew Mullins | Defender | Clearwater, Florida | Calvary Christian H.S.
Prep: Three-time letterwinner at Calvary Christian … As a senior, set the school record with 25 goals in a season … Ranked No.1 in district and No. 2 in the state for goals … As a sophomore, scored six goals in 12 games played … Competed for Chargers SC MLS Next Team … Participated in the NAL All Star Game U17, MLS Next Cup: Best of Game U17, Orlando City Academy Trial invite U16.
Joey Buchanan | Midfielder/Defender | British Columbia, Canada | Howe Sound Secondary | Vancouver FC
Prep: Played for two seasons at Howe Sound Secondary … Two-time team captain … Played for Burnaby FC in Ligue 1 British Columbia from 2019-24 … Member of Canadian U17 National Championship team for Burnaby FC in 2023 … Three-time Provincial Champion with Burnaby in 2019, 2023 and 2024 … Signed a development contract to play for Vancouver FC in the Canadian Premiere League for 2024 and 2025 seasons.
