Milwaukee County Parks Announces “Kinetic Garden” – A Vibrant Summer Show at the Mitchell Parks Domes

Milwaukee, WI — Experience the vibrant rhythm of summer at the Mitchell Park Domes with the debut of Kinetic Garden, the newest seasonal floral show opening June 7 through September 7, 2025.

Blending the natural grace of flowers with the energy of motion, Kinetic Garden invites visitors into a world of color, form, and artistic expression. Inspired by the motion and patterns found in nature, this dazzling exhibit features petunias, begonias, and lantanas, all arranged to mirror the sweeping dynamics of a painter’s color wheel. Woven into the garden beds are dynamic sculptures designed to accentuate movement and harmony, creating a mesmerizing fusion of horticulture and contemporary art.

“We’re excited to present a show that both delights the senses and sparks the imagination,” said Doris Maki, Director of the Mitchell Park Domes. “Kinetic Garden offers an immersive experience that reveals the movement and energy found in even the smallest blooms.”

Exhibit Hours:

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday, Sunday & Major Holidays: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Last admission one hour before closing

• Juniors (3–12), Seniors (60+), Students, Military: $6.00
