(MILWAUKEE, Wis.) — The Brady Street Area Association (BSAA) has announced a live public debate between Aldermanic District 3 candidates, Daniel Bauman and Alex Brower, ahead of the April 1st special election. The debate will take place on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. at Vivarium, 1818 N. Farwell Ave. The free event follows the success of the BSAA’s February 18th primary candidate forum which saw over 150 attendees.

“As was evident in our primary forum, the residents and neighbors around Brady Street are invested in this election and eager to make informed choices about the future of our neighborhood and our city,” said Douglas Savage, BSAA Vice President. “We’re excited about this opportunity to dive deeper into the unique issues surrounding Brady Street, from public safety to new developments and more, with both remaining candidates.”

The evening will consist of opening statements from each participating candidate, the debate moderated by Savage, before ending with a selection of audience questions. A moment of silence will also be held for the late Alderman Brostoff. Seating will be available on a first-come basis, and members of the public can RSVP to the event on the BSAA’s Facebook page.

Prior to the February primary forum, candidates answered a questionnaire regarding their background, platform goals, and stances on issues that affect the neighborhood. The candidates’ responses can be read in full on the BSAA website
